Why are swim pants required for children that are 3 and under and toilet trained?
Young children don’t always make it to the bathroom in time so in order to protect the safety of all our guests we require a swim pant to be worn. The swim pant may be worn over a diaper or without a diaper. Fecal accidents can compromise the immune system of young children, elderly, or guests that already have a weakened immune system. In addition we must close our pools, and clear them of all guests, for at least half an hour while we super chlorinate and then readjust chemical levels to meet the State of Illinois health codes. Please Note: Swim pants are required and will be provided to you as part of your child's admission fee. |
